Hey there,

National Poetry Month is almost here! Here’s how I’ll be celebrating with all of you:

I believe that, like every poet, every poem has a lineage. Every poem has parents or siblings or at least some distant relatives that informed its creation. This year, I want to celebrate NaPoWriMo by honoring those lineages and exploring what the connections between our own work and the work that inspires us can reveal and generate.

Every week in the month of April, I’ll be sending out a poetry study, similar to the ones my paid subscribers get every month. Each study will include one of my own poems, along with at least a couple of poems that in some way inspired my writing or informed my editing choices. I’ll also include at least one relevant prompt, so that you can create your own piece to join the family!

Two of the studies will be available to the public for free, and the other two will only be available to paid subscribers. You access all of my poetry content for just $5/month (or $50/year).

These NaPoWriMo prompts will be in your inbox every Saturday in April. I can’t wait to see what we create!

If you’re putting out any NaPoWriMo content of your own, send it my way! I love prompts.

See you soon,

Christina
